Originating from the French word ‘stagiaire’, it translates to ‘the internship’. An internship is a form of learning that builds on a foundation of knowledge and integrates theory with practical application. And it represents my journey from intern to solopreneur.
Rewind to 2012, when I worked for a design consultancy in Paris. Living in an iconic city was inspiring to say the least and so I created a blog, Le Stage, to document my experiences. As well as sharing my adventures, it became a canvas for experimenting with website design.
The Paris internship marked the beginning of a ten-year career as a Structural Engineer, which saw me navigate city life in London and embrace the outdoors in Vancouver. While each era brought its own set of opportunities and experiences, I found myself in a demanding career that left me feeling drained & uninspired.
Eventually, I rediscovered my curiosity and passion for creating websites. Motivated by a desire to reclaim my time and redefine success on my terms, I relocated home to Ireland, started my business, and transitioned from structural plans to website wireframes.
Inspired by the architectural axiom ‘form follows function,’ I design websites and systems with a clear purpose. I’m passionate about creating online spaces that not only captivate visually but also guide users toward meaningful engagement and conversion.
Life is an adventure, and so is building a business. My goal is for our collaboration to be an adventure in itself, where every step we take brings us closer to realising your vision.
